Eliminating the Waitlist

Kansans with Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) and Physical Disabilities (PD) are forced to wait up to 11 years to access essential, life-sustaining Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) under the Medicaid Waiver program. KCDD is dedicated to changing this.

For more information and talking points, download the Eliminate the Wait! flyer.

Protecting Home & Community Based-Services

KCDD developed this Issue Brief in response to the issues happening at the federal level. For information about who uses Medicaid, what services are covered under Medicaid, and how changes to Medicaid impact people with IDD, download our Issue Brief.
